About Graphic Design Department

The Graphic Design Department aims to train designer identities who are creative, able to solve visual design problems, use the technological equipment competently, researching, sensitive, open to innovations, aware of the richness in their surroundings and combine it with their creative abilities during the four-year undergraduate education.

Our students are taught how to use the visual language used in a universal scale in a
creative and effective manner in the modern education axis given by academicians who are experts in their fields, with the help of technological equipment supported by the latest systems software in the Mac laboratories within our department. Graduates of the program receive the title of “Graphic Designer” and graphic designer, art consultant, art director in advertising agencies, media, press and publishing institutions, packaging, fair and marketing companies, official institutions; They can work as graphic designer and manager in printing houses. They can also establish their own design, advertisement and promotion offices. They can continue their postgraduate education in the field of Fine Arts and become faculty members in relevant educational and research institutions. In order to graduate, it is required
to be successful in the courses specified in the 8-semester program and to carry out a research report and exhibition project in the form of a thesis that can demonstrate the development and designer identity of the candidate of the graphic design.
